Intimate Wedding at Villa Barsocchini, Lucca

There is something I really love about small weddings. Without a big guest list, there is more time to enjoy every moment and to simply be together with the people who mean the most.

Ally and Billy came to Tuscany in June with their closest family for their destination wedding. They chose to celebrate with only their parents, siblings and their partners, making the whole day feel relaxed, personal and full of genuine emotions.

Their ceremony took place at Palazzo Orsetti, in the historic centre of Lucca. It was simple, emotional and beautiful. After the ceremony, we spent some time walking through the streets of Lucca for a few portraits. I always enjoy photographing in this city. Every corner has its own charm, and the soft June light made everything even more beautiful.

The celebration continued at Villa Barsocchini, surrounded by the lovely hills just outside Lucca. Every time I discover a new place around this area, I find another reason to fall a little more in love with Tuscany. Maybe it is the landscape, maybe the peaceful atmosphere, or maybe it is because I always meet such wonderful people here.

As a destination wedding photographer, I feel very lucky to photograph couples who choose Tuscany for such an important day. Every wedding is different, and every story stays with me in a different way.

Looking back at Ally and Billy's wedding, I don't only remember the beautiful places. I remember their kindness, their lovely family, the relaxed atmosphere, and all the small moments that made the day so special. Those are always my favourite memories.
