Gabriela & Maximiliam
A warm late May day welcomed this beautiful Tuscany wedding at Il Castello di San Ruffino. Surrounded by the rolling hills and landscapes of Tuscany, this charming castle was the perfect place for a celebration that brought together history, nature, and two families coming from different parts of the world.
As a Tuscany wedding photographer, I am always inspired by places that have their own personality, and Il Castello di San Ruffino was truly special. The castle’s deep wine-red tones created a beautiful contrast with the delicate blue and white floral arrangements chosen by the couple. Every corner had its own character, and every detail felt connected to the atmosphere they wanted to create.
Bringing together their Colombian and German roots, this cherished couple created a celebration that was a true reflection of their story, their cultures, and their love. Their cultures were present throughout the celebration in the most beautiful ways — from the Colombian and German flags decorating the party to the traditional dances and heartfelt speeches shared in different languages, allowing everyone to understand, connect, and feel part of their story. It was a beautiful reflection of how weddings can bring together different histories, families, and cultures, creating a shared experience where everyone feels included.
They were such a joy to photograph. Their connection was visible in the quiet moments, the laughter, and the way they looked at each other throughout the day.
Guests traveled from both the Americas and Europe to be part of this celebration, gathering in Tuscany as a shared place where everyone could feel at home. It was beautiful to see so many stories and backgrounds coming together in one place, surrounded by the beauty of the Italian countryside.
The day started with a calm and intimate atmosphere, filled with emotional moments and thoughtful details. As the evening unfolded, the energy slowly changed, the music became louder, the smiles became wider, and the celebration came alive. When the Colombian music started playing, everyone was on the dance floor, bringing warmth, joy, and an incredible energy to the night.
Photographing this Tuscany destination wedding was a true pleasure. It was a day made of beautiful contrasts: a historic Tuscan castle and modern love, Colombian traditions and German heritage, guests from different continents, and a couple whose connection was at the center of everything. This day is a beautiful example of how meaningful and personal a wedding can be when it reflects the people behind it.
Cheers to Gaby and Max! To a lifetime filled with joy, endless discoveries, and above all, love.
